Strew Chicken is my kids favorite dish. I cooked this dish by simple way and quiet often, also not too many ingredients. You can serve with rice or noodle.
- 300 grams chicken wing or drum stick
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sweet sauce or brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 small piece ginger, slice
1.Boil chicken stock with high fire until soup is boiled add ginger and chicken lower fire to med. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
2.Add dark sauce, sweet sauce, sesame oil and simmer for more than 30 minutes, you will get the soft chicken, if you find the soup a bit thick, you can add some water and taste it what you like. If too salty add a bit sugar or water.
3.Remove from the heat, scoop into the bowl and sprinkle the coriander leave and serve with rice.
4.If you like to serve with noodle, add vegetable as you like e.g. cabbage, kale or bean sprouts. Put the strew chicken onto noodle and sprinkle fried garlic.
