Braised Five-spice Pork Belly

Now it's easy for me to make Braised Five-spice Pork Belly dish. I has brought Sia's Spice Packet from supermarket to make it and this five spice powder you no need to add so much thing into it, it's already got the test. It so easy for me just add dark soy sauce and sweet soy sauce that all and after that I can get a nice braised pork belly.


  • 500 kg pork belly, sliced
  • 5 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce 
  • 1 packet SIA's meat five spice powder
  • 3-4 cups of water
  • 5 clove garlic 
  • 4-5 hard boiled eggs, shelled 

1. Mix SIA five spice powder with water, add garlic and bring to boil simmer. 
2. Add the pork slices, and boil in high fire, add the dark and sweet soy sauce. 
3. Cover and cook gently over a low heat for 40 minutes, add hard boiled eggs and continues simmer until meat is tender.
