In Thailand, I use
to eat stream bread with milk kaya, this snack you can find every store selling
for breakfast, afternoon tea or supper. The kaya was not so thick like jam, and
it made from coconut milks, eggs, sugar and a bit corn flour.
After I made milk
loaf, make me thinking of this kaya to eat with, and also think of one of my
friend, I remember she ever did milk tea kaya. I asked her recipe and went to look
her recipe at her blog; Cookie-Nim and thank you for sharing the nice recipe.
It quite simple and easy to make, just mix coconut milk, sugar,
salt, egg, corn flour and milk tea (using milk tea powder mix with water) and then
bring to boil until the kaya become thick but not too thick as jam. Stream milk
bread and cut into cube, dipped in kaya, that’s how we eat. For this kaya, we also
eat with other such as Pa Tong Kho – Yu Cha Kueh /Youtaio too.
