- 5 tbsp butter
- 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup all purpose flour or cake flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Cheese Layer:
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- In the large microwave safe bowl, combine butter and chocolate. Cover and microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, stir until smooth.
- Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder until blended.
- Spread into a greased 8x8 tray, set aside.
- In the a microwave safe bowl, heat cream cheese on high for 45-60 seconds or until softened, stir until smooth. Beat in sugar, egg and vanilla.
- Spoon over the brownies batter, cut through batter with a knife or wooden stick to swirl
- Bake at 170-180 degree C about 20-25 minutes or until toothpick come out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
